Don't get out of shape physically just because it's winter. We suggest you get your snow shoes or cross country skis and hit the trail. Pennsylvania has an abundance of Rail trails that are perfect for these winter activities. It's wise to go in groups of two or more. Share the fun with friends.

We also suggest the Lower Trail (pronounced like flower) along the Juniata River in Huntingdon and Blaire Counties. The trail-head stations are easily accessed from Alexandria, Alfarata station to Flowering Springs near Hollidaysburg.
